Author and illustrator Brian Lee O’Malley is the Canadian cartoonist behind the Scott Pilgrim series (six volumes in total). Since its release, it has exploded into popular graphic novel literature and has recently been adapted into a movie and a videogame. Those familiar with the city of Toronto may recognize street names and popular landmarks in the book. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys YA graphic novels – and yes, it is much better than the movie! (submitted by EO)
