The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May, and June – Robin Benway

extraordinary secrets imageApril, May, and June, three sisters living in present day California, find they have ‘extraordinary’ capabilities after their parents divorce and they have to move to a different community. April, the oldest, can see future, May, middle, can become invisible and June, the youngest, can read people’s minds. This might sound like it should be a science fiction book, but it really is about family and changes and how people cope differently for a variety of reasons.  I enjoyed how the author gave each of the girls their own chapter, rotating from oldest to youngest, and their point of view of what is going on in their lives at the moment.
