I Think I Love You by Allison Pearson

I Think I Love You by Allison Pearson is a charming and sweet novel about a young Welsh girl in the 1970s who enters a contest to meet her idol, David Cassidy.   Almost twenty five years later, after her mother’s death, she’s cleaning out her mother’s closet and finds a letter notifying her she won the contest.  She’s going through a divorce, isn’t getting along with her daughter and, feeling she needs to make changes in her life, she decides to claim her reward.  She reunites with Sharon, her best friend from her teens, and they fly to America to claim the prize.  Narrated by Sian Thomas with an enjoyable Welsh accent.  I found this book heartwarming and memorable. 1. I’ve had this book for so long, and have yet to read it. I got it because my sister was madly in love with David Cassidy, so I’m not sure why I keep putting it off, but you’ve given me a good reason to revisit this one.
